Season 6 is finally here and what better way to go out then with a bang. This season is going to be very chaotic and very fun so don't expect much on the chill side now.
Whats new?
Map Changes:
Crash Zone's: Crash zones are new this season and are small but unique and they offer a lot of fun gameplay with one of the new mechanics discussed later in the patch notes
Many more map changes will be coming throughout the season
New Mechanics:
Crafting: Crafting has returned and is a very nice mechanic as you can go to brand new crafting boards which are only found at the crash zones currently but will change more throughout the season. There is currently only one gun you can craft and upgrade and more will get added and changed throughout the many updated this season.
Its Near... This is a new type of day cycle that changes the island and makes it into a dark and scary environment with the cube infected locations spawning zombies and having them go out for there revenge for the cubes. Be sure to kill the zombies for monster parts as you can use them to craft.
Keys: Keys are here and they grant access to vaults and chests. You can use 2 of them to open the cube chest and cube infected areas and you can also use them for new vaults on the map! There are also special silver chest that have the chance of giving you a key or a few other resources. Note: The other resources will be for different crafting recipes in the future!
New Updates/Changes
You will notice some slight chances to things as we have tweaked with some new sounds and mechanics to replace old ones. This will help us learn what we can do better and change to become better. Loot pool also has nothing much new and will only grow from here out. Prepare for chaos and for the war as we take the cubes down with us... this will be the end for the map...
New Storyline Quests: The storyline quests this season will have a lot more lore and explain what's going on as the island falls apart... this season may be one of the best but at what cost?
